A REAL SURPRISE:
We drove past, but turned around, because the museum is in a cave! There are all kinds of Native American artifacts from both north and Central America. There is a great collection of dinosaur footprints, but best of all is the “glowing” rock collection. A real treat of a roadside stop. Should not be missed.

We stopped on a whim and it was such a pleasant surprise! It was small but full of history and charm. The gentlemen working where very helpful and full of interesting information. It is family owned and family members work there. Lots of cool stones, gems, fossils, and treasures. We enjoyed the illuminating rocks. Would recommend the stop. Definitely worth the 5 dollar admission!

YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE:
We stopped in at Moqui cave because we had some time to kill. It ended up being our favorite activity in Kanab. The caves are three small rooms with a collection of memorabilia and artifacts from the family who bought the caves in the early 50s. There are flourescent rocks, moqui artifacts, steelers memorabilia, wood carvings, neon paintings, and dinosaur tracks. Listening to Lex's stories of early Kanab, his father and the history of the area, was just incredible. what a wonderful place with a very fun history. (it was originally a bar and dance hall!) If you love humans, you will love this place.

This was incredible the imagination and detail that went into creating this place. The history of this place is even more amazing.

We whipped past this place on our way to AZ and actually turned around to see what this place was. I am so glad we did! I don't want to spoil it, but it has a neat history and a great collection of artifacts. It was a great stop and an awesome way to stretch our legs and keep cool. If I'm ever in the area again- it's a must stop attraction

QUIRKY AND FUN:
If you like touristy road side attractions, you'll like this place. Quirky and kinda fun, says I! It doesn't take long to explore all of their exhibits, but that's a good thing when it comes to fitting into a vacation plan. Well done cave entrepreneurs!
